Lounge Ambassadors play a key role in shaping the experience of students who walk through our doors. From welcoming newcomers at the front desk to running cultural celebrations, workshops, and social nights, you’ll help create an environment where everyone feels supported and included.
Your kindness, enthusiasm, and presence can genuinely change someone’s day and sometimes, their whole experience in Australia.

Eligibility Requirements
This program is open to international students enrolled in a regional tertiary institution (for at least one trimester) and graduates.
Applicants must:
Be 18 years or older.
Commit to attending at least one Lounge event weekly (commitments may vary).
Have or be willing to apply for a Volunteer Working With Children Check.
Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

Submit your CV (no longer than two pages) with one personal referee.
Create a short video (maximum 1 minute) telling us why you’d make a great Lounge Ambassador.

Key Dates
Applications Close: 8:00 pm on Wednesday 31 December 2026.
Group Interviews: Thursday, 15 January 2026, from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at the Lounge.
Induction Session: Sunday 25 January 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
